The current online job search, exam preparation and application experiences are disjointed and difficult to follow. There is an opportunity for a leading job portal to expand on an aspirant’s digital job-search experience with added support and organised information.
Quicksand conducted a foundational research study in Delhi and Bihar with key stakeholders in the aspirant’s resource ecosystem, each providing unique value through the aspirant’s journey. The team met with job seekers at different stages of their government job seeking journey, right from an early bird, to a fresher and even successful aspirants who had gotten a govt job by cracking the formula.
Through the research the team uncovered motivations for government jobs, the disproportionately high demand of these jobs, and the complex ecosystem of information that applicants have to navigate.
